Branded Turnkey VISP
Service: |
The
branded turnkey Virtual ISP program creates a fully
functional ISP
(see www.LifeGiver.net or www.EnviroFund.net for
examples), |
| but
is fully branded to your organization. Agnat/iSupportISP
provides all |
|
actual services to the subscriber,
including dial up access to the internet, technical support,
customer |
|
service, billing and the ISP web site. We can build the
entire web site or just provide |
|
branded signup pages to be integrated into your existing web
site. |
| You
just market the ISP to your customers or supporters, and we
do everything else. |
|
|
Here is how it works:
|
|
Agnat/iSupportISP sets a minimum subscriber cost based on
the options you select, usually |
|
$10.75 per month for our network A. |
|
This price decreases as your number of subscribers
increases, so your |
|
margin will actually increase over
time. |
|
|
You set the
subscriber pricing based on the strength of the affiliation
between the subscribers and your organization, the
demographics of your subscribers, and other factors. $15.95
to $17.95 is usually a good price point.
The difference between the base price and the subscriber
price is your margin, minus the merchant account fees. |
| Branding and setup
fees range from $1,250 to $3,000, depending on options
selected. The only additional cost to the organization is
CD-ROM disks for use in marketing the service. Some groups
can market without CDs by using email, news-letters and
other means of informing their clients and supports about
the new service. Other groups who have only face-to-face
contact with their supporters may need CDs. |
|
Who should use the Branded
Turnkey program? |
|
|
Larger non-profit organizations who can benefit from the
affiliate marketing potential of an ISP using their name.
For-profit companies who desire to launch an ISP without
capital investment.
Existing companies with a strong presence
on the web, who wish to add internet access as a revenue
stream. |
| Any
group who needs to offer service at a different price then
any of our in-house brands. Do you think you can charge $25
per month because your supporters are willing to pay that
much if $13+ is going to you? Or are you interested in
offering service at a very low margin in order to provide a
low cost member service to your supporters? Either of these
needs can be met through a branded VISP. |
| A
group needing to split the revenue stream between for-profit
and non-profit. Let’s say a non-profit finds a chain of book
stores willing to pay for the CDs and stock them at the cash
registers, but they want $1 per month for each account out
of the $5 margin. As long as the marketing message to the
subscribers is accurate we can do this: “buy this internet
access and $4 per month will go to our charity”. We direct
the $4 to the charity and $1 to the non-profit. This can be
a very effective method of convincing a for-profit entity to
front the cost of the fund raiser. They put up the funds for
the CDs, but they make that back plus a healthy margin. |

|
The Networks: |
|
Networks A-E are national
networks, Network F is a rural network in Tennessee, Network
G is a rural network in Texas. Turnkey customers can select
which networks to offer their subscribers. The more networks
you offer the better the coverage—all seven networks provide
coverage for more then 92% of the US population. Please
note that there is no charge to you to carry multiple
networks—but you need to fit this into your pricing
strategy. If you are going to market at a single price (get
your access for $15.95 /month), then you might want to drop
the more expensive networks off the list. |

The Subscriber receives:
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Example: |
| A
branded VISP client has between 250 and 500 subscribers, and
has decided to carry networks A, B, C, D, E and H so that
they can sell at a set price of $17.95 per month and
maintain their desired margins. Their exact margin for any
given account will depend on two factors: The network
selected by the subscriber, and the payment method used by
the subscriber (The merchant account fees are different for
the different payment methods).
MC/Visa $0.30 + 2.5% of transaction amount
Discover $0.50 + 3.0% of transaction amount
Paypal $0.30 + 3.0% of transaction amount
Check/Money order $.50 per item processed.
So the margin is (subscriber price) minus (base cost at
your volume level) minus merchant account fees.
Best case: subscriber purchases a net A account and pays
by check the margin is $17.95 - $10.75 - $0.50 = $6.70
Worst case: subscriber purchases a net D account and pays
by discover the margin is $17.95 - $12.50 - $1.04 = $4.41
Please note that many of our clients choose to offer
different pricing on the different networks in order to
maintain the same margin no matter which network is
selected. Almost 90% of all accounts are paid for with
MC/Visa, although paypal is growing quickly. |
